Thermo Scientific Herasafe 2030i Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) are designed to maximize sample protection and user safety with exceptional containment measures, while at the same time, delivering excellent user comfort and convenience. Breakthrough innovations and unprecedented features make the Herasafe 2030i BSC our most technologically advanced and user-friendly Class II cabinet available.

Premium performance with innovative features

Motorized front window and SmartClean Plus design

Entire front sash is motorized to either open automatically to the right aperture or to completely lift up, allowing for easy access to interior of BSC. Routine maintenance, cleaning and set up tasks are simplified.

Touchscreen control and connectivity

Digital Airflow Verification (DAVe) alerts, system self-checks and performance status are provided on the full-color touchscreen. With enabled connectivity (available in select countries) the remote app provides all data you need.

SmartFlow Plus protection

Autonomous safety features maintain proper air flow and monitor critical conditions in real time without user interaction.

• Glass side walls and LED lighting – Enjoy a brighter workspace environment with better visibility.
• SmartClean Plus technology – Easily access the interior of the BSC with the motorized front sash which automatically stops at the set working height. The sash can be further opened electronically or the whole front panel hinges open for thorough cleaning access.
• Dual DC motors – Powering the SmartFlow Plus airflow compensation system while delivering better energy efficiency and quieter operation. Standby mode furthers energy savings and system longevity.
• Self-adjusting germicidal UV light intensity – Our unique cross beam UV system has exclusive self-adjusting exposure capability to enable reproducible germicidal effectiveness with every use.
• SmartPort convenience – Easily pass tubing and wiring through sidewall to accommodate many applications needs.
• Customizable worktops – Choose from work surface designs that best suit your application and work style. Standard equipment includes 2 or 4 duplex receptacles and 2 service valves.
