Bottle Handling – Crates, Trolleys and Accessories

Bottles require constant turnover. Friendly logistics is a must to ensure a smooth process.

• Drawer-style transport trolley (8, 10 and 12 spots) for 18 positions bottle crates
• Easy to manouvre thanks to their light design
• Crates available in S/S (BC-Matic)/plastic material (BC-Plast)
• BC-Plast crates are molded injected in a single piece using a glass-filled polyphthalamide (PPA) which exceeds standards in heat, moisture and chemical resistance
• Crates with embedded sliding lid featuring quick lock/unlock system for easy access to individual bottles
• Different crate sizes to hold from 260 to 700ml (9.8-23.7oz)
• A set of miscellaneous crates is available for caps and reusable enrichments handling
• Trolleys and crates described above:
  avoid any heavy lifting during change out operations in the holding rooms
  fit the full facility loop being compatible with manual and automated washing systems
• Washable and autoclavable covers (10µm filtration efficiency):
  load protection during stocking
  front access to avoid cover removal during usage

Cage Handling – Trolleys and Racks

Multipurpose trolleys or individual cage type racks are specifically designed to increase stock density and maximize bulk autoclaves load avoiding double handlings.

• Different designs for different purposes:
  Multishelves solutions to enhance the flexibility of the load
  Trolleys for nested items suitable for partial cage change operations
  Racks for single-type cage suitable for integral cage change operations
• Easy to manouvre thanks to their light design
• Compatible with the full loop from cage change operations in the holding rooms through washing and autoclaving
• Ratio between floor space and cage numbers optimized to increase density granting load stability
• Standard design for manual applications and custom solutions for automation or special requirements
• Washable and autoclavable covers (10µm filtration efficiency)
• Alternative trolleys available for rabbit and guinea pig trays and cages

Presentation Racks – Cages, Tops and Wirelids, Bottles

Logistics thought to remain in the inner loop of the cage wash area and to work in conjunction with rack washers

• Universal racks to accomodate multi-type of cages enhancing flexibility
• High density design to maximize washing throughput
• Bottle washing kit featuring quick-lock connection and rotating arms
• Available in “standard” or “baby” sizes to suit available operational spaces and meeting operators’ needs
• Alternative racks available for rabbit and guinea pig trays and cages
• Presentation rack for aquatic tanks to work in conjunction with the related rack washer option
• Standard design for manual applications and custom solutions for automation or special requirements
• Specific racks for IVC tops washing to increase performance avoiding unpleasant water pooling
• Miscellaneous accessories for special applications to be integrated or attached to the racks above (e.g. AWS and IVC valves washing kits)
